讲座题目：Learning the Genetic Architecture of Complex Traits Across Populations
Dr. Hua Tang, Professor of Genetics Department Courtesy Professor in Statistics, Stanford University.
Hua Tang received her BS in Biology from Harvard in 1997, and PhD in Statistics, with a minor in Genetics, from Stanford University in 2002. From 2002 to 2006, she was on faculty in the Public Health Sciences division at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She joined the Stanford Genetics Department in 2007, and is currently a Professor in Genetics and, with courtesy, in Statistics. The goal of her research is to elucidate the genetic architecture of complex traits and diseases at molecular, individual as well as population levels. Professor Hua Tang has presided over a number of research projects such as the NIH fund project in the United States, has obtained many important research outcomes and published them successively in famous academic journals such as Nature, Science, Cell , Nat Genet , Am J Hum Genet, Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A and so on.
