Supported by the advantages of medicine, this research direction develops and applies physical principles and methods, investigates and develops new technologies in treatment for critical disease such as tumors with techniques of image-guided radiotherapy, X-ray phase contrast imaging and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). Medical Physics aims to make significant breakthrough in developing diagnosis and treatment system in tumor and its clinical application.
