Introduction：
Tianjin Key Laboratory of Medical Epigeneticsat Tianjin Medical University is engaged in systematical and deeply research on medical epigenetics and clinical transformation related to disease and development.The key labstands at the forefront of medical epigenetics in the exploration of some of the most profound questions concerning disease.Much of our work focuses on developing a better understandingof establishment and maintenance of epigenetic regulation, epigenetic regulation in stem cell development, epigenetic mechanisms in human disease, and clinical transformation of epigenetic regulation.
At its core, our mission is two-fold: providenew idea and new research approaches for clinical diagnosis, drug treatment and drug screening of diseases, and nurturea research team with the world's top level.
The key laboratory is now composed of56facultymembers, including oneacademician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, two National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholar, one NationalThousand PeoplePlan, twoNationalMillions of Talents Project. Since the key laboratory is established, the team has undertaken more than 60 national and provincial research grants and published over 50 SCI papers, 34 of which have high impact factors.
